Privacy policy
Last updated: November 8, 2026
Your workouts stay on your phone. This page covers the Gymbori Android app and the websites at gymbori.app.
Your workouts
Your workouts, exercises, templates, notes and settings are stored on your device. Gymbori has no server of its own that holds them, and we can't see them. The app has no ads and no analytics.
If Android backup is on for your phone, Android may copy this data to your Google account. If you save a backup file, it goes wherever you choose to put it.
Crash reports
When Gymbori crashes, it sends a diagnostic report to Sentry (sentry.io), a service we use only to find and fix the fault. The report contains:
- the error and where in the app's code it happened
- the app version
- technical details of the device, such as model, OS version, language, time zone, and free memory and storage
- a random ID created when the app was installed, which is not linked to your name
- the app screens you opened before the crash
- an approximate location, such as your city, worked out from your internet connection
It does not contain your workouts, exercises, notes or any other content you have entered. Nothing is sent unless the app crashes or hits an error. Sentry keeps these reports for a limited time. You can't currently turn crash reports off in the app.
If you email us
If you write to support@gymbori.app, feedback@gymbori.app or beta@gymbori.app, we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use it to reply to you. If you ask to join the beta, we add the Google account you give us to the tester list in Google Play.
Our websites
Our websites are hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. Our pages don't use analytics or advertising. The home page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when you open it.
Who else gets your data
We don't sell your data or share it for advertising. The only outside services involved are the ones named on this page, and Google Play, which handles installing and updating the app under Google's own privacy policy.
Your choices
Uninstalling Gymbori deletes the workouts stored on your phone. Backup files you saved, and any Android backup in your Google account, stay where they are until you delete them.
Changes
We reserve the right to change this policy at any time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
By using Gymbori or our websites, you agree to this policy. If you keep using them after a change, you agree to the updated policy. If you do not agree, please do not continue to use Gymbori or our websites.
